The £30m refurbishment of the existing theatre was part of the first phase of Croydon’s College Green development, which will see Fairfield Halls developed into a new centre for arts, education and culture.

This project marked Capital Thermal Services very first theatre refurbishment which was successfully competed within the 12 month programme.

Undertaking the Thermal Insulation, Trace Heating and Acoustic works, Capital Thermal worked hard to provide these services around the building becoming "live" part way through. This meant working nights to accommodate the end users as well as being considerate and complying to noise restrictions that come with a working theatre.
