Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH)
Fire rated insulation across a landmark City of London development.
Capital Thermal provided fire rated insulation, thermal insulation, acoustic insulation and trace heating across the refurbishment of a 100-year-old building within Great Ormond Street Hospital. Home to the UK's first dedicated Sight and Sound Centre for children, featuring specialist testing facilities including soundproof booths and an eye imaging suite.
One of two hospital schemes secured with the Integral and Kier partnership, the cost of the project was met entirely via charitable donations, including a significant contribution from Premier Inn. Delivering a high-quality result was paramount, not just to specification, but in recognition of the positive impact this facility has on young patients across the UK.
